PITTSBURGH, PA ( February
18, 2003) – Kirk M. Miles of Cranberry
Township, PA has been elected a
shareholder and vice president, The Webb Law Firm
(Webb Ziesenheim Logsdon Orkin & Hanson, P.C.), effective January 1, 2003.
Since 2000, Miles has
served as an attorney with The Webb Law Firm,
which concentrates in domestic and
international intellectual property law including
patents, trademarks, copyrights,
unfair competition, trade secrets, licensing and related
litigation. Attorneys have backgrounds in diverse areas of business and
industry.
Miles was born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, and admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in
1993 and New Jersey Bar in 1994. He received a J.D. degree in 1993 from Franklin Pierce Law

Center, Concord, New Hampshire; and a B.S. degree in 1990 from Gannon
University, Erie, PA,
where he majored in chemistry. Prior
to joining The Webb Law Firm, Miles was an attorney with an intellectual
property law firm in the greater New York City/New Jersey metropolitan area.
Miles is a member of
the American Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association,
New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association and Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Association. He is also admitted to the United States
Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States District Court for
the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States Patent and Trademark
Office, the United States District Court for New Jersey.
